Sabancı University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences invites applicants for a full time assistant professorship position. We seek a highly motivated scholar with good communication skills who is willing to work as part of a team. The fields of interest should preferably complement the research activities by the current group members and be suitable for initiating interdisciplinary research with other programs. The successful candidate must have a strong record and potential for top quality scholarly publication, as well as promise of outstanding teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Requirements:
Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related field
Publication record demonstrating research potential.
Involvement in project application and reporting processes.
At least three years post-graduation experience
Research areas: Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Privacy, Social Media Analysis, Responsible Artificial Intelligence.
Publications: The candidate must demonstrate research excellence with published articles on the above topics, in international journals, indexed by the Web of Science. In particular, a minimum of 3 scientific publications in the Journal Citation Reports top two quartiles or having CWTS SNIP score of 1.0 or higher are required.
