Sabancı University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences invites applicants for a full time professorship position. We seek a highly motivated scholar with good communication skills who is willing to work as part of a team. The fields of interest should preferably complement the research activities by the current group members and be suitable for initiating interdisciplinary research with other programs. The successful candidate must have a strong record and potential for top quality scholarly publication, as well as promise of outstanding teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Requirements:
Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering or related field.
Research Areas: Material Science and Engineering, Ceramic Materials, Three-Dimensional Printing, Rheology, Cement, Manufacturing.
Publications: The candidate must demonstrate research excellence with articles published on the above topics in international journals indexed by the Web of Science. In particular, a minimum of 16 scientific publications in the Journal Citation Reports top two quartiles or having CWTS SNIP score of 1.0 or higher; 8 of these publications must have been completed after reception of Associate Professor degree are required.
