This is a research focused role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.
The candidate should be a PhD holder, with a broad skills base for research study design, set-up, implementation, data analysis / interpretation and reporting. The candidate will design, synthesize, characterize and evaluate different functional nanosystems for industrial applications. The size, morphology, stability and capacity of these nanosystems will be studied using state of the art techniques. They will be evaluated in vitro using cell-based experiments and in vivo using animal models. Also a structure-activity relationship study will be studied. The purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.
This project is within a collaborative and interdisciplinary research consortium under the frame of Tubitak-Teydeb. Motivated candidates with team-work spirit and background in molecular biology/chemistry/biomaterals are welcome to apply. The position can be renewed for another 1 year or more.
