Postdoctoral Researchers in the Fields of Nanocomposites
We are looking for postdoctoral researchers in the fields of nanocomposites to work at Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center.
General qualifications
- PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering/Chemistry
- Good knowledge in surface modifications, carbon materials, polymer chemistry and materials characterization
- Project management skills
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English
- Good team work skills
- Great communication skills
- Strong Focus on execution and results oriented.
Job Description:
This person will be responsible for;
- Synthesis of carbon materials (graphene and graphene-based nanocomposites)
- The production of different masterbatches by using different thermoset and thermoplastic polymers in pilot scale
- Characterization of the products by SEM, XRD, Raman Spectroscopy, FTIR, DSC, TGA
- The preparation of scientific reports and the interpretation of results
- Extent and create new networks.
