Full-Time Faculty Position in Computer Science and Engineering (CS-2-2019)
The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at Sabancı University invites applications for multiple full-time Assistant or Associate Professor positions in all areas of computer science. In particular, we encourage the scholars with a strong academic credentials and hands-on experience on modern tools and techniques for the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Visualization, Computer Graphics, Human Computer Interaction, Cloud Computing, IoT, Cyber-Physical Systems, Software Engineering, Biometrics to apply for the positions.
As a small university, we are especially interested in candidates whose research complements existing research areas and who can help lead, initiate, and participate in collaborative research projects within the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Sabanci University. Potential or demonstrated excellence in research is expected, as measured in the form of publications in high-quality journals and conferences.
The successful candidates are expected to develop and teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels within the Computer Science and Engineering Program, and the Data Analytics professional program at Sabanci University (expected load is 3 courses/year). Responsibilities also include service to the department, faculty, and university in general, in the form of student mentoring, committee work, etc.

The positions have a start date of February 2020 or September 2020. A Ph.D. in computer science or engineering or a closely related field is required by the start date.
