Full-Time Faculty Position in Additive Manufacturing
Sabanci University Integrated Manufacturing Center (SU-IMC) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at all-ranks in the areas of Additive Manufacturing. The candidates must have earned a doctorate degree in Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline. The applicant is required to have an expertise in additive manufacturing of metal alloys, ceramic, and ceramic-metal composite materials or material development for additive manufacturing especially for high temperature applications. The successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research and graduate student supervision. Expertise on the industrial scale manufacturing, processing, and material development and characterization for additive manufacturing is a very strong asset.
The Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research Center (SU-IMC), industrial-scale research and technology development facility, was established in Summer 2016. The SU-IMC provides fundamental and applied research and facilities for design and analysis, product development, process prototyping, manufacturing, incubation services and commercialization opportunities in integrated manufacturing technologies.
