Scholarship Opportunities Offered During Education Period
2024-2025 Academic Year
At the end of each academic year, scholarships can offered to students who have achieved the specified level of success (who have completed at least one academic year except Foundation Development Year with higher academic standing). The scholarships granted at our university are evaluated by the University Administration and Scholarship Committee every year; new quotas, scopes and conditions can be determined.
Sakıp Sabancı Encouragement Scholarship: “Sakıp Sabancı Encouragement Scholarship” provided for “outstanding academic succes” or “academic succes and need” while continuing education; It is given as 100%, 50% or 25% of the annual tuition fee. The Board of Trustees can evaluate the Sakıp Sabancı Encouragement Scholarship every year and determine new quotas, scope and conditions.
Scholarships provided for "Outstanding Academic Achievement" are automatically awarded at the end of each academic year, based on criteria such as GPA and earned credits, without the need for students to submit any application.
In the case of scholarships provided for "Academic Achievement and Financial Need," there is an application period that includes the submission of supporting documents in addition to the evaluation of similar application criteria. Applications are submitted at the dates announced on our website at the end of each academic year.

Dilek Sabancı Scholarship: Dilek Sabancı Scholarship given for academic success; It provides exemption from 100% of the annual tuition fee of 5 students who pass from the second year to the third year and meet the necessary success conditions. It continues until graduation, provided that the student is within the normal education period, does not receive disciplinary punishment, and has a GPA of at least 2.50 each year.

Hacı Sabancı Scholarship: Sabancı University undergraduate students; It is given to a student who has a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 during the transition from the first year to the second year and provides the highest grade point average among the students in need. It continues until graduation, provided that the student is within the normal education period, does not receive disciplinary punishment, and has a GPA of at least 2.50 each year. Scholarship includes tuition fee, dormitory fee exemptions for four students, up to 750 TL book support and 12.000 TL for 9 months stipend payment.

Türkan Sabancı Scholarship: "Türkan Sabancı Scholarship" will be given for 1 academic year to the students who are in need and successful, determined by the "Scholarship Committee" to the students from within who have completed first class and have at least GPA 2,5. Türkan Sabancı Scholarship includes annual tuition fee exemption and monthly stipend 6.500 TL for 9 months.

Sabancı Vakfı Need Scholarship: "Sabancı Vakfı Need Scholarship" will be given for 1 academic year to the 5 students who are in need and successful, determined by the "Scholarship Committee" to the students from within who have completed first class and have at least GPA 2,5. Sabancı Vakfı Need Scholarship includes annual %25 tuition fee exemption.

Tenzile Erdoğan Scholarship: A female student preferably from outside of İstanbul and registred in Management Sciences program, who will have education in 2’nd class and have at least GPA 2.5 can receive “Tenzile Erdoğan Scholarship” until graduation. (Scholarships may be re-evaluated in case of having a GPA under 2.5). Tenzile Erdoğan Scholarship covers annual tuition fee exemption, dormitory exemption for double rooms and monthly stipend 12.000 TL for 9 months.

Mehmet Zorlu Vakfı Scholarship: Students admitted with full scholarships to undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences or the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (excluding the VACD program) who meet the need and merit criteria set by the Mehmet Zorlu Foundation are eligible for a monthly cash scholarship, subject to the Foundation's quota. This scholarship is provided for 9 months each academic year during the normal duration of study, provided the student maintains their academic success.
This scholarship is evaluated within the "Monthly Need Scholarship" application process, and candidates are selected based on the criteria set by the Foundation, which are then forwarded to the Mehmet Zorlu Foundation.

Devak Scholarship - Deloitte Education Foundation: This scholarship is awarded by the DEVAK-Deloitte Education Foundation to financially needy and successful second-year students enrolled in the undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, or the Faculty of Management Sciences at Sabancı University. Monthly cash support is provided for nine months, based on each recipient's academic performance during the normal duration of their studies.
This scholarship is evaluated within the "Monthly Need Scholarship" application process, and candidates are selected according to the criteria set by the Foundation, which are then forwarded to the Deloitte Education Foundation.

Monthly Cash Need Scholarship: Students who apply for the monthly needs-based scholarship during the announced periods each academic year may benefit from this scholarship if deemed eligible by the Scholarship Committee. The non-repayable Monthly Need Scholarship includes monthly cash payments for a maximum of nine months. If the financial need continues, the student must submit a new application for each academic year. Applications are accepted twice a year: at the end of the Spring term and at the beginning of the Fall term.
