PSY 320 Developmental Psychology
A comprehensive overview of contemporary developmental science, studying the contribution of a developmental perspective (changes with age) to major questions in the field of psychology, such as thinking, memory, self etc. Recurring themes would be continuity vs discontinuity of development, and nature-nurture sources of development. Research discussions include both classic and current studies within the field. Consideration is given both to biological and cultural influences on development.
