Outgoing to Socrates-Erasmus Programs

The objective is to have as many students as possible benefit from the exchange programs. Along with that, it is also essential that both the student himself and the institutions must primarily ensure that the student will make the most of his studies abroad.

Those students who are interested in participating in the exchange program may find out about the application procedures, eligibility and selection criteria, the universities that SU has agreements with, and about everything that needs to be done before going abroad and after returning to SU, through our website.

The Socrates-Erasmus Committee coordinates the selection of the undergraduate students for exchange programs whereas the Faculties coordinate the selection of graduate students. The below conditions are applied to undergraduate students only.

The applicant must have;

• either be registered in a diploma program or the minimum credit requirements to make major declaration by the time her/his exchange period starts (58 SU Credits)
• language proficiency on the language of instruction in the destination country.
• a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
• no balance or responsibilities due to Sabancı University and no disciplinary penalty.
