The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at Sabancı University invites applications for a full-time position to teach graduate and undergraduate-level studio design courses within its Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design program.
The successful candidate is expected to possess the motivation to provide transformative teaching, contribute to the improvement of our course curriculum and student experience, and engage with the Department's research and knowledge exchange agendas. The candidate is expected to teach junior and senior graphic design studio courses including branding design, and UX & UI design related material. The candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning; participating as an active member in the course and curriculum development of the program, and thus serving in faculty and/or university committees is also within the candidate's responsibilities. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of current practical and theoretical trends in the Art & Design discipline. MFA and/or PhD degrees in Visual Communication Design or a related discipline is also required.
