The Computer Science and Engineering Program at Sabancı University, Istanbul, Turkey is seeking full-time instructors effective 2025-26/Fall semester.
We are seeking dynamic individuals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring, with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. The successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate core computer science and engineering courses, including recitation and lab practices, with an emphasis on practical, hands-on learning. Additional responsibilities include:
- Supervising graduation projects to guide students in applying their knowledge to solve real-world problems.
- Curriculum development with a focus on practical and innovative teaching methods.
- Coordinating and assessing internship projects to enhance students' industry readiness.
The expected teaching load is 6 courses per year or equivalent.
Qualified candidates should hold master’s degrees in computer science, computer engineering, information technologies or in related education disciplines. A Ph.D. degree is preferred. An excellent command of English is required since English is the primary language of education in Sabancı University.
Sabancı University offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering as well as M.S. and/or Ph.D. degrees in Data Science, Data Analytics and Cyber Security. Our B.S. program has been accredited by MUDEK, part of the International Engineering Alliance - Washington Accord. The CS program have been ranked as one of the top CS programs in Turkey by THE and QS ranking systems.
