Minor Programs Details
We offer the minor programs stated below to our successful undergraduate students who are eager to learn. Students may learn about areas which are not included in undergraduate program by faculties.

1. Application
Students who wish to register for a minor program and meet the requirements mentioned below may submit their petitions to the Faculty Dean Office of the minor program during the dates stated in the Academic Calendar.
As of the application period, students must be enrolled in at least their second semester and at most their fifth semester.
In Academic Calendar, applications in the Fall Term will be evaluated for the following Spring Term, applications in Spring term will be evaluated for the following Summer Term and Summer Terms will be evaluated for the following Fall Term of the Academic Year. Candidates are expected to meet the term specific application criteria stated below.
2. Acceptance Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a major diploma program,
- Must be at the beginning of at least the third semester and at most the sixth semester,
- Minimum CGPA* of 2.72 is required, (The CGPA* requirement is 2.50 only for acceptance to the "Entrepreneurship" minor program.)
- Must have successfully completing all credit courses in the undergraduate program,

3. Continuation Requirements
- To be eligible to continue in the minor program, the CGPA* of the major diploma program must be at least 2.30.
- A student who does not register in courses from the minor program for two consecutive semesters will have their minor program enrollment cancelled.
- A student may voluntarily leave the minor program. After voluntarily leaving from the minor program, a student cannot re-enroll in the same minor program.
4. Completion Requirements
- In order to be awarded a certificate for the minor program, the graduation requirements of the major diploma program must be met.
- Students who successfully complete all courses required by the minor program and have both their CGPA* and PGPA** values equal to or higher than the grade point average specified in the Acceptance Requirements above will be awarded a certificate indicating the completion of the minor program in addition to their bachelor's degree.
- Students who are eligible to graduate from the major diploma program but have not completed the minor program will be granted an additional period of up to two semesters by the decision of the Faculty Board. During this period, students may also continue their double major programs, if any; however, no additional time will be granted for the minor program based on the double major program after the two-semester extension period.
Students who meet the necessary requirements may enroll in both a minor program and a double major program simultaneously.
Students who meet the necessary requirements may enroll in multiple minor programs simultaneously.
(*) Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): It is calculated by dividing the total score earned from all courses taken since entering the university by the total SU credits of these courses. The most recent grade is considered for repeated courses, and all courses taken are displayed on the transcript.
(**) Program Cumulative Grade Point Average (PGPA): It is calculated by dividing the total score obtained from courses counted towards the program requirements used to fulfill graduation obligations by the total SU credits of these courses.
