Course Registrations: Course Overloading Requests

Students who are to graduate can do overloading in condition of the following;

An overloading for their course program can be done for students who complete 6th semester and are in their graduation year  and for students who are to take courses in fall or spring or summer school and earn the rights to graduate can apply until 12 July, 2024 at 17:00 p.m.

Applications should be made through the online system, with the Student Petition Form application. You can access the Student Petition Form from the Petition Form icon at https://bannerweb.sabanciuniv.edu/ . Please upload the e-mail confirmation of the instructor of the course you request to overload via Student Petition Form, along with the course overload application form. Please state the CRN code of course, if there is any recitation/discussion or laboratory hour, don't forget to add section code. If there is any time conflict, please upload the time conflict approval e-mails from the instructors of the overlapping courses via Student Petition Form, along with the application form. The overloading will be completed after the Faculty Executive Board decision.

Maximum course load students can take for summer school is 8 SU credits. However, students, who will graduate after taking courses in summer school, can increase their course load at most 10 SU credits with the approval of course instructor and the decision of Faculty Administrative Board by submitting a course overloading form to the Faculty they enrolled at.
