We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the Venice International University (VIU) Globalization Program Summer Session! This prestigious program offers a unique opportunity to take part in an intensive academic experience in the beautiful city of Venice, Italy.

Program Details:
  • Location: Venice International University (VIU), Italy
  • Dates: August 4-29, 2025 ( Virtual Component: July 1- August 3, 2025)
  • Course Load: Students can take one course during the program. Each course are worth 6 ECTS.

Application Process:

Students who wish to participate must first apply through our university’s online application system. Selected students will then be nominated to VIU.

Selection Criteria:

Candidates will be evaluated based on:

  • 50% Cumulative GPA
     
  • 50% English Language Proficiency Score

Who can Apply:
  • Undergraduate students 
  • Minimum 2.20 CGPA is required. 
  • Available Quota: 10 students
Important Information:
  • Summer semester is defined as an optional semester and is not included in the semester calculation.
  • Students will add the courses they will take through the Learning Agreement system.
  • If a student requests to add/drop courses, Learning Agreement can be revised.
  • At the end of the semester, courses and credits will be submitted to SU system with letter grades according to Grade Conversion tables approved by the Academic Council.
  • Visa, insurance and accommodation expenses -as in the exchange program applications- are covered by the students.
